Dengeki Bunko: Crossing Void is a 2D fighting game where you take on the life of some of the more popular characters from the well-loved editors Dengeki Bunki -- a Japanese publishing house for manga novellas, home to over 20 different genres.

Combat systems in Dengeki Bunko: Crossing Void are turn-based. Towards the lower part of your screen there's a set of buttons with distinct attack styles and special attack skills your protagonists can carry out. Attack different areas, heal your side kicks, improve your skills, etc. Once you've taken action, it's your enemies turn to respond. The group that successfully defeats their opponent first, is the winner of this contention.

Over all, in Dengeki Bunko: Crossing Void, there are over 40 unique characters to bring to life, all of which belong to the Dengeki Bunko universe of manga novellas. Each character has their own animations, special attack skills and back story. That said, you're going to need to unlock each character as you go. In fact, as you make your way through the story mode, you'll gain new heroes to add to your already extensive set of characters.
